Google has to deal with an ever-increasing number of government requests for the release of personal information about users, as more and more users work on the global network. This is stated in the statistical data published by the company in public domain. The data reveals exactly how the internet giant works with government agencies. The report covers the period of the first six months of the current year. The current publication of the report is the fourth for Google, and in each subsequent report the company has acknowledged that the number of requests from government agencies is increasing. The company first began publishing the reports under pressure from accusations that the company was handing over user data to Chinese authorities, which practice internet censorship.
Google says that in fact the company receives requests from Costa Rica Mobile Number List almost all over the world, although, of course, there are favorites among countries such as the United States and China. It is worth noting that despite the tense political situation in Russia and the constantly growing protest mood of people, in the first half of the year Google received only 42 requests for the release of user data, two-thirds of them were satisfied. For comparison: in the United States for the same period, 5,950 requests were received, 63% of which were fully or partially fulfilled. In total, in the first half of the year, the Internet company received 15,600 requests for information, which is 10% more than a year earlier. In the last 12 months, the number of requests was 25,400. Google admits that this number is small compared to the several hundred million users of Gmail or the more than 40 million users of Google+. Now the company says that about two-thirds of requests come from the United States,
although the same country also has the largest number of refusals to provide information. Also, quite a lot of requests fall on the traditional bastions of democracy - the countries of Western Europe, although here most of the requests are related to data on people suspected of criminal offenses, such as murder, robbery, violence, etc. Google reports that Gmail and YouTube are the most requested data releases. It can be assumed that in the next report Google+ will also be included in the list. It was not included in this report for objective reasons - the network was launched 4 days before the formal end of the half year. Speaking about YouTube, the company reports that a significant number of requests were related to the request to remove videos with violence or violation of someone's rights. Among all countries,
